I just received and email that said I have to complete a First Year Alcohol Curriculum by the fourth week of classes and receive an 80 on the post test. In the email I received it said our orientation leader should have explained this class to us, but this email is the first I’ve heard of it. If anyone knows anything about this, any insight would be much appreciated.

That was the same thing for me. No one I know heard of it during orientation either.

But, I saw it as extra work I didn’t want to deal with during Fall, so I did it in the same night I found out. All you really have to do is open all of the links they want you to read in separate tabs, wait 20-30 seconds, then click ok at the bottom of all of them before taking the test (or as an alternative you can actually read them…). It was pretty straightforward and easy. I got a 90 while only reading one of the articles. It took about 10 minutes altogether.

I definitely did not hear about this at orientation, and have yet to get an email about it…is it posted somewhere on blackboard so I can just do it?

Never mind…I just checked my fsu email and found it there :).

If you don’t do it you can’t register for spring classes as there will be a hold/stop on your account.
Here is more info. It is detailed on the NEWNOLE site. <a href=“New Student & Family Programs”>New Student & Family Programs;

In case you missed something else at orientation here is the post-orientation page:<a href=“New Student & Family Programs”>New Student & Family Programs;

thanks! I just finished it and it took me like 30 minutes (I read the articles) and I passed with a 90. Thank you all for the help! : )
