first year intergrated program

anyone interested in the first year integrated program?
I was reading the mail about it. But i dont know if i should i do it? Any advice?

I’m gonna do it. All you have to do is show/tell them that you wanna do it at orientation. Getting 4 credits by only taking 3 classes is AWSOME.

i can’t tell if brando is being sarcastic or not

or if he doesn’t understand

or if i don’t understand.

i don’t know if i should or should i just take the classes that i want … cuz what if the classes that are assigned to us for the program are the ones i don’t want to take…

ShoeFactory, I’m with you. Why is it GOOD to get 4 credits by taking 3 classes? But the question is, how do you know that brando is a guy?

i think brando meant that you can complete 4 general education requirements with three classes. at least that’s what it says on the card…

I looked up the FIP courses.

There are 3 of them.

One of them waives a math class, which you would take ANYWAYS if you are a science/math major.
One of them waives two science classes, which you would take ANYWAYS if you are a science/math major.
The last one waives neither math nor science, so that could be a legitimate alternative.

Two of them waive at least 1 of humanistic inquiry (i think) which you would take ANYWAYS if you were a humanities major.

Basically, check to see if your major is required to take a class in one of the things it waives. Then it would be 3 for 3 so you might as well take a class about stuff you want to learn about.

This program DOES waive writing 39c which is nice.

i kinda wanna do it but im still not sure…
but that gaming course does seem interesting

What is the last class ? And I’m seriously considering doing it. For my major i already know I will have to take math and science. And it mentions something about a computers gaming course which does interest me.
