<p>what textbook does columbia use for intensive orgo for first-years? thanks.</p>

<p>Depends who teaches it. And, first and second semesters are generally taught by different people, so you could end up having to buy two different books. (We did my year.)</p>

<p>Sames used Sorrell. I had him 2nd semester (and Turro 1st, who was awesome). Sames is absolutely horrible, and CULPA agrees with me.</p>
