I’m filling out the accomplishment section, and I’m not quite sure what to include. Since it’s based on college too, should I include scholarships I won? One was a small distinguished scholarship from UNC, and another was from SAS. Also, for extracurriculars, should I include the major projects or accomplishments from this semester under ‘position/honors held’? I didn’t necessarily have any leadership positions, but I definitely did work with organizations that I am proud of.

The deadline for this scholarship was about a month ago.

The deadline for first years at UNC and Duke is January 23rd. For incoming freshman, yes the deadline was last month.

Would talking about being pro-choice be too generic for a prompt asking you about one of your beliefs? I can’t really think of anything besides that and religious stuff (although I don’t really have religious beliefs either way). This is tough because I’m very open minded and do not have very many rock solid beliefs. My only other belief is related to education, but I already am writing another essay about education reform.

then your beliefs are more about equality, and live and let live, and being open minded. non judgemental. reasons why not being open minded in your way of thinking is wrong…???
