First Year Student Mid-Term Progress reports

Does anyone know when these officially come out? My son went on the Student Portal and there is only one grade listed and that’s for his Freshman Seminar.

Also, do they only do this for freshmen? My daughter is a senior at another University and they get these every semester.

Thanks!

Mine just came up recently. I suppose it just depends on the professors of his classes. I only have 4 grades showing up instead of 5.

These reports only come out in the fall of a student’s freshman year (according to my Student Central).

I have never received one of these and don’t feel it’s necessary. I have always known how i was doing in all my classes at every point of the semester. Professors are usually pretty transparent with their grading system in the syllabus and it’s pretty easy to insert the grade on whatever test/paper/assignment a student has received thus far.

I think midterm progress reports represent the kind of hand-holding that differentiates high school life from college.
