<p>I am friends with a student who has been doing NGO work for the last several years “saving the world” rather than going straight to college. She received a couple of credit at U of Toronto but was never enrolled full time. She is now looking to apply as a 22 year old to US universities.</p>
<p>Should she apply as a first-year, transfer student, or what? Which colleges offer programs that she could apply to?</p>
<p>It seems like the Eli Whitney Program at Yale fits this criteria but what other colleges have similar programs? On one hand, it almost seems like she should apply as a first-year student but it seems weird to require teacher reqs, a college counselor form, etc…</p>
<p>Please HELP!!!</p>
