Fiske Guide To colleges 2011

Hey, in the new guide, USC has an academic ranking of 3.5/5, tied with schools such as UC-Riverside and losing to all other UC's. I do not understand how this is possible, considering USNWR ranks USC way higher, as well as the mid-50 SAT and ACT scores are wayyyy above most UC schools. Does Fiske have something against USC? It says it does not include student:teacher ratio, which hurts USC ( and honestly isnt fair because that is a very important statistic). Why is USC ranked so low? I know to take rankings with a grain of salt just curious. Thanks.

Yeah dude ***s they seem to have left out diversity and other things too, maybe you can take a look at this thread:

yea i agree with US News rankings, as seems the vast majority of people. It just seems weird that Fiske is so off...

There are tons of completely subjective ranking systems that are made to benefit certain institutions over others.
