Guys, do we receive an email if we get accepted? I live in Sri Lanka and mail comes to me late…
Last year when I got rejected on April 1st, I did also recieve an email shortly after I got my letter in the mail. I don’t know if this happened for everyone and I did think it was a little strange how I got the email minutes after I opened the letter.
Does anyone’s application preference still say “not entered”… I’m getting scared whether or not they have my application… I did my transcript the essay and all the other things… So scared…
@yunah101 That doesn’t mean anything! It has said that on mine since day 1 and they definitely have all of my materials.

@ceemore ASSOCIATE IN APPLIED SCIENCE means AAS. I don’t believe that means anything, sorry.
Also I turned in all my financial aid information and I am able to see how much award I qualify for and it says current program “FULL TIME” and “off campus” for housing. I dont think this means I got in, ts just my financial aid info is shown. Also when I go to site MAP I have twelve sections with other sub sections of topics like class search, financial aid, registation, student records, etc. I dont know if that means anything.
@Sinnabunn Its about 45 minutes away from Jax! I sent in all my financial aid in January and they still haven’t reviewed that either! FIT is so confusing with this process.
Got email from FIT with DHL tracking number last week (I am an international applicant) and received the acceptance letter yesterday! Good luck to you all!!!
@Sinnabunn yea I knew that AAS meant the Associate in Applied Science, I just thought that since it was the first time I saw this on my Application summary next to my current program that it meant something good lol, that sucks that it doesn’t…thanks though and good luck!!
Edit: I also see those options on my financial aid and mine also says FULL TIME and since i’m staying home it says housing WITH PARENT. I also see the site map…this is too much lol
I’m really surprised no one else had recieved anything from FIT besides the people who were emailed about their acceptance. I’ve looked through past threads and people have recieved their decision letter around the 21st. FIT’s admissions must be running late this year.
Someone received one today that didn’t get the email so they must have been sent out!

For anyone who got their acceptance letter, congrats! I was wondering, has your myfit portal already changed or is it still the same?
The people who got their letters , were you all sent a package tracking number ?
Or were you informed by any email like housing ?
@ABehera I got sent a package tracking number from DHL, but I never received an email from FIT regarding housing or that they accepted me! I’m international though, so I am not sure how the rest gets theirs but it seems like that most get theirs via normal mail.
@ceemore Like the day after I paid my tuition deposit, I noticed that my myfit portal changed quite a bit! Originally, I only had tabs like the Admissions Requirements, Admission Forms, Financial Aid Resources and Announcements. Now it seems like they have granted me access to a lot more features like Housing & Residential, My Courses, Online Resources and etc! I think it only changes once you ‘confirm’ with them that you are going to FIT with the tuition deposit.
Has anyone from Florida been accepted yet?

i’m so nervous I feel like I’m gonna die. If I get waitlisted and rejected again, I’m gonna be so upset. I don’t know what to think. Staying calm is not in my vocabulary
