@annafarrell I don’t understand, how can the Class Search and Ethnicity Survey tell you that? What does it say?
No like I’m saying on my site map it says “class search” and “ethnic survey”. Does everyone have that?

when you select your financial aid checklist, do any of you have the “NYS Award Information Sheet”? I didn’t have that initially and now I do. I’m from NYC so maybe it’s just a NY state resident thing? Also when you go to the financial aid Award Overview, do any of you have the “Print SUNY Award Letter PDF” at the top? Im hoping that either of these are good signs! I doubt it though

can you only check the FIT email if you get accepted?? or does everyone get an FIT email address when they apply?

@annafarrell this is such a crazy process! hopefully something comes in the mail today, I figured if I don’t get anything by saturday, i’ll call the admissions office
I called the admissions and they said they haven’t even reviewed my app yet… i hope this doesn’t mean I’ve been waitlisted!!

Guys, in my application portal thing online- in the table given, my WES status says ‘jf’ what does that mean?
I was told that that my app is under review given that WES just sent my reports last week. I have to endure 3 weeks of waiting. I had a strong portfolio so am really believing that I will get in (crosses fingers)
can someone tell me how they get the site map or how they know if they application has been reviewed? I live on long island and last weeks 2 girls in my school got accepted but i havent

@veezyy If you apply to FIT, you have your FIT email! Your fit email is your first name underscore last name @fitnyc.edu and the password is your birthday. For example: john_smith@fitnyc.edu would be your email & if your birthday is August 14th, 1998 the password would be: Aug141998. You use gmail to log in! @nycorla I live on Long Island too, I applied in November and still haven’t gotten my letter! My GPA is 3.3, I had a killer essay and took 4 precollege classes at FIT as well as 4 years of Fashion classes at my high school. A few of my friends from LI still haven’t heard back from them either… We should all be hearing back by tomorrow, if not you will know by this upcoming week. A 3.1 GPA is not the best but it isn’t the worst, FIT generally won’t accept anything under a 3.0 though. If your essay was great and depending on what major you applied to will determine your acceptance. If I were you, I’d call admissions and ask if your application has been reviewed. But just know that they’ve been crazy busy so they may be short with you. Best of luck!
I called on Tuesday and was told a letter went out on the 28th We are in CT. Had the application and all requirements in by Nov . GPA is 3.27, have a ton of experience working in Fashion and running fashion shows. Applied to FBM program - getting very discouraged at this point.
