As far as I’m seeing (via Instagram) most people getting them are international students…? I don’t really know. I’ve been checking my mailbox constantly. So nervous.
WES has really messed up my application. Let me inform you that until last week FIT was emailing me to send my documents to WES. I had my WES thing rejected as they wanted some stamp and signature from the board in india. Obviously the indian education board took 2 months to stamp that envelope. You guys are not going to believe it but there were people who i had to deal with in the process of getting my official transcripts who did not even know what is the meaning of a transcript… 
…anyways, I finally sent it out to WES for a re-evaluation yesterday. I hope it works. But FIT informed me that until the class gets full, and the applicant seems eligible, they accept students. Hope i get to meet you guys this year! Good luck,!

@jewelbru @BarbieHer And to think that I was the only one that got played by WES… Jeez I actually paid like more than 300 usd just for the entire evaluation crap. Not a good feeling especially if the currency exchange rate sucks! I actually emailed WES to find out why or how on earth did they misplace official documents sent directly to them, but of course the only reply I’d gotten was this : Thank you for e-mailing us, we understand your concerns. Your file is
currently under review; please continue to check your status online for updates.
blah blah blah and of course they never did follow up with me. Sorry I complain way too much! Just hope that nobody has to go through the same horrible feeling of having to deal with this!
Yes thats what they always say. I just think they dont really have to make this application process so difficult. I tried explaining to FIT that they cant really put my career on hold because of a high school transcript.

@YuQinggg @jewelbru That WES automated reply just pisses me off. I don’t know why they have to use WES. The transcripts are self explanatory. I’ve been looking forward to FIT since 2012 but I had to first finish my Bachelor’s in Industrial and fine arts in my country. I majored in Fashion, jewelry and art history. I graduated last year. But i know FIT will just take my life to a whole new level.
Do Fashion Design Majors get notified later than the rest?
I honestly can’t wait to just know whether I’m in or out.

Im honestly dying… I read through 2015 fall applicants and the decisions start coming in like 23rd and 24th March. I just don’t want it to be April 
it’s too long a wait .
I’m waiting to see if FIT posts about sending out decisions on their instagram because they did that last year. Also, last year people I know got their decision on March 23rd so it could be any day now! Good luck!

@hausofemily yay! what part of Florida, I would be moving from Orlando. I applied in Oct/Nov and the waiting couldnt be more real that the next two weeks.
@Sinnabunn I live in Fleming Island (you probably haven’t heard of it). I filed my SUNY app midnight July 31st because it was surprisingly open. And I sent in all of the supplemental materials the second I got the username and password for the myFIT portal.
My application has been placed under “processed applications”…I’m getting excited! I hope I hear back soon, I applied back in October and it feels like its been centuriessss
