Has anyone who was waitlisted received an email conforming they are on the waitlist?! I emailed them as soon as I found out and still haven’t gotten a response.
Same with me… I haven’t received anything yet!! It’s driving me crazy

I just sent in all of my requirements to the transfer aas 1 year fbm program because it was still open- does anyone know how long it’ll take now that it’s rolling? Should I expect to hear any time soon? MyFIT says that all my transcripts have been received as well as my essay.
@vocalist9597 When did you send your requirements? they do tend to take a while. I applied for the same program 1 year FBM program in the end of March, and they just received all my transcript and essay, except my high school transcript. I read on past forum that they do tend to take a long time for any response. Since they already have all my college transcript I am waiting for their evaluation on what was able to transfer and what wasn’t.

@alicer I sent them all around the 3rd (?) but yeah everything is in at this point, havent gotten an evaluation or heard anything whatsoever. I’m assuming it is gunna be a while but I keep checking MyFIT like three times a day checking if anything has updated! Haha! Good luck to you as well!!! Us transfers dont have it easy
Hey! If anyone sends in updated transcripts, call the admissions office!!! You have to let them know about the update, and they will give you to an admissions counselor to inform them as well. The admissions counselor will then know to review any additional classes for transfer credit. Make sure you have your FIT Student ID# when you call.
Hi. Any updates guys? I’m a student from Pakistan, not exactly international as I’m a US resident but I’m attending school here. I don’t get my transcripts till August so my application is still incomplete I communicated this to FIT and they said only completed applications are processed. Do you guys think I have a chance? Is anybody still waiting for thier letters?
Also I can see Class Search, Ethnicity Surveys and Barnes & Noble too so pretty sure it doesn’t mean anything.
I don’t think you have a chance until your application is 100% completed. And some people are still waiting for their letter now is only because they got waitlisted.

i was offered admission at FIT Florence and South Korean campuses after being waitlisted for Fashion Design 2 year AAS (International + Transfer applicant), which is ridiculous ! i refused that offer as NYC campus is my only priority.

Hi! Sorry for the late reply (good luck to your son by the way hope he gets in) did you hear anything back yet? And I applied to some CUNYs for film majors and might transfer, New Paltz is also an option for me, but I’m not sure what to do yet.

hey guys, I know I’m very late here but I’m a hs student and I want to apply to fits textiles aa in fall of 2018. My gpa is a 3.2 and i haven’t done much fashion-ey things. Do you think I have a chance? I haven’t heard much about this major does anyone know how competitive it is?
