Long story short: I’ve had an abnormal sleep schedule for about 5 weeks now thanks to deadlines.
This all began during the first round of mid-terms weeks back…
Before mid-terms came around, I was fairly alright with the 19 credits I’d signed up for in the term. Then when midterms came around, I just had no choice but to stay up later and later as the work piled up studying and taking care of projects…
Well what happened was the first round of midterms went pretty dang awful, as expected of someone not getting much sleep.
Unfortunately, those low-sleep nights turned into insomnia, I began having trouble falling asleep until 2, 3, even 5 am!!! Worse, some nights I just don’t sleep at all! Not being a fan of caffeine, I just went for naps in between classes. It made me feel better, but this is no way to make it through college, as far as I know, this just makes it worse for my internal clock.
Since my university goes off a quarterly system, I’ve still got 4 more weeks of class left for the term, I can’t be the only one to have had crazy sleep problems out there, to anyone who’s had them before, what’d you do to fix them?
