Flexibility for female non-science majors?

<p>I’m asking on behalf of my friend. She loves Georgia Tech, but doesn’t think that she can get in. She wants to study the social sciences.</p>

<p>STATS:
-OOS
-3.5 GPA at a college prep private
-So-so class rank (not quite in the top 25%, but close - it’s a hard school)
-A fair number of honors and APs, and a challenging overall load
-SAT: 620 M, 720 V
-Strong ECs, including leadership and awards
-Great recommendations</p>

<p>Would she have a decent chance?</p>

<p>Tech loves evening out the ‘ratio’, plus she has great stats…she’s in.</p>
