Hi,
As a rising highschool senior, I am trying to decide on a college path. I am fascinated by the human mind and its rapidly changing relationship to technology. As such, I am considering a career as either a:
Neurosurgeon
Brain-Computer Interface Engineer
Bioengineer
Artificial Intelligence Programmer
Doctor on first Mars Mission
I am planning on double majoring in college and completing premed reqs in the process. Right now, the majors I am looking at are:
Biomedical Engineering / Biological Engineering
Neuroscience
Symbolic Systems (Stanford)
CS
The top of my college list is currently:
MIT > Yale > Stanford > Harvard > Columbia > JHU > Calthech > CMU > Cornell > Tufts
My two questions (although all comments are of course welcome) are what combination of classes would best serve at least the first four of my fields of interest, and what colleges would best suit that path?
Thanks.
