The owner is my agent’s client. She helped him find this place. He is trying to do everything he can think of while the walls are open.
By coincidence, I did a renovation for his ex wife a couple of years ago when my agent helped her buy a townhouse near UCSD and she had the kind of 70s retro style going. That is the Moms house and now I’m doing the Dads house.
Hi everyone. Our kitchen structural beams are done. But I don’t have pictures to post because they were sent to me via WhatsApp. I have been in constant touch with my crew but only through remote communication. Because I’m in France and Italy on a long awaited girl’s trip!!! It’s wonderful. Today is a rainy day in Rome so we gave up and came back to our beautiful apartment for a cozy evening.
How fitting that you are in a gorgeous apartment with beamed ceilings and lots of light. Wow, what a lovely place and exquisite views. I am so happy you are enjoying a delightful get-away. Here’s hoping the crew is thoughtful enough to not send any new poop stories your way.
@coralbrook re: the mold under the stucco and God knows where else issue.
Your lawyer owner needs to get involved. He is sinking a crap load of money into a dwelling that, if mold infested, might actually not be habitable…at least not in a healthy way. Mold and mildew remediation, if on HOA resonsible territory, needs to be done…now. And it needs to be very thorough, as you know…because one teeny bit left will just regrow.
This is a health hazard. If your department of healt receives a complaint, it won’t be pretty.
I remember posting this when the house first went on the market- we all had quite a discussion of that garage. Somehow I got the impression that the house was set up and marketied as a very expensive rental property. The gardens are lovely but OMG the lack of privacy…
The house description says ‘private beach’. I was there tonight (the house is next to where Google Maps takes you for ‘La Jolla Tide Pools’) and the beach is definitely not private!
