In most cases on Flip or Flop you will see Tarek and Christina walk into the house and cabinet doors and floor samples are lined up against the wall. I recognize these cabinet and floor choices… they are the stock stuff available at the Ready to Assemble cabinet warehouses. So, they have these same samples they put up and choose from on most of the lower or mid price flips
It’s part of the formula of all these shows. Something comes up every single time that requires meetings, stress over budget or schedule, whatever, just to add drama and interest.
On Property Brothers it’s the “phone call” - every show there’s a point where they call the owner tell them something bad like “we can’t do because of , I know you are crushed, how about instead”.
They are all scripted to a greater or lesser degree.

My agent has a call into the early morning agent but no response back. I’m pretty sure they were not happy because they are from out of state and probably don’t quite get the appeal of Pt Loma. One if the key attributes is we are only 10 min away from airport and maybe 15 from downtown on surface streets (no freeway traffic). This is a big draw for people working downtown or commuting on planes
We have 4 showings today and a group that just came through has already scheduled a return at sunset this evening

Well, I figured out why I am suddenly noticing planes today. The wind is a unusual SW direction today and the planes have changed a bit to take off in that direction.
Just my luck!!! Oh well
6:30am buyers did not like the plane noise so tgey are out
Morning showing came back on her own with husband. They don’t care about plane noise because they already live in area and are used to it. Wife loves the house, husband loves the yard. These were the people who were going to come at sunset.
They both drive new Teslas. How do I know that??? Because I have to leave the house and stand out on the street to give buyers privacy during the showings
How cool that you have a 220V outlet for their charger in the garage. 
And they can replace your tiles with Elon’s solar tiles when those will be available! The conduit is in there.
This would be a HUGE selling point for Mr. We did not make an offer on a very nice house because there was no way to add a charger. Mr. was going to get rid of the AC to free up the capacity, but that would have required so much trouble (complicated by the setup), so we passed.
Ugggh…wind changed back and now I don’t hear any plane noise

Cb, the Fed is on your side. Here is what is happening in my neck of the woods. Zero new inventory. The Dec hike is already priced in, so the eyes are on March. 40% chance of a second hike per CNBC talking heads. Higher mortgage rates for those buying after the Dec. Fed!!! People are scrambling to lock in - can’t lock in without an offer.
Maybe the cars are leased and they are swimming in debt. But as long as they can buy the house, do we care?

The two new Teslas are a great sign too that they will likely NOT want a bigger garage.
If they get in a bidding war, maybe they will throw in a Tesla 
There are very few things I lust after (as you can tell by the crap truck that is my only car) but I’m afraid I have wanted a Tesla for 4 years now.
After this house sells you’ll be able to afford one.

Ah, but I haven’t heard that there are any Tesla trucks yet on the market and it would be hard to stick all the tools of your trade in a regular Tesla, even tho they do have roomy trunks! Fingers crossed!
