I am thinking of a 4 or 5 night side trip to Florida sometime during the last two weeks of March. Is it going to be packed with vacationing families at that time? Any suggestions for quieter areas that time of year?
Orlando will be packed because that’s spring break for a lot of schools, and Easter is April 1. Other parts of Florida will be their normal amount of crowded people looking for a beach.
It’s also college spring break for some at that time. But I’ve heard college kids are now going to Cabo!
We’ve been to the Gulf Coast at that time of year and Samibel in particular was relatively quiet, especially when the day trippers leave each day. You definitely won’t get the college kids.
End of March is more high school vacations than college. Not sure how rowdy it is these days. Will never get back to the “good old days.”
