<p>I am studying at University of Florida and I recently got married. I am enrolled for Florida Opportunity Scholarship and FAFSA and now i am just scared that this year when I put married on the forms my aid is gonna get canceled. I am not sure if this is gonna happen but somebody told me that Florida Opportunity Scholarship is only for single people. Although my husband income was very low even less than $10,000 and I am still dependent on my dad’s tax return. Anybody has any idea that being married effects your Florida Opportunity Scholarship and FAFSA in any way? even when your husband is not making any money.</p>
