Florida Virtual School

is pretty much a joke, I've almost got 50% of my class done in about 5 days.
I didn't think it'd be this easy.

Granted, I am taking Personal Fitness, Lol.

I did hear that the AP classes are very challenging though.

You can't finish 50% of AP Lang on FLVS in 5 days, that's for sure.

I'm taking Fitness Lifestyle Design right now. I can easily breeze through one module in a day.

I just finished AP Lang on FLVS, it took me way too long.

I'm taking AP Lit now and I'm struggling to keep up.
Chinese 1 took about a month for a full credit. SAT Prep was a damn joke.

Anything other than personal fitness will take more than 5 days.

Physics is decently challenging.

Liist, is AP Lang hard through Florida Virtual School? What is the courseload like?

And how exactly are you taking a fitness course online?

Why not?
Believe it or not, it's like a repeat of health and lots of bookwork.

The few exercises I do, are running miles, timing myself, doing stuff like that.

It's so simple

AP Lit. through FLVS has a crazy amount of modules- 11 in all.

jk_91, the teacher gives you a schedule of "workouts" that you have to do. He calls your parents and your parents confirm your commitment.

I find that even more hilarious. My parents would just lie for me if I asked them to.

Is FLVS only for FLORIDA kids?

No invoyable. I think it's free for Florida only though

Invoyable: FLVS is only free to Florida students. I believe you can pay to take courses if you are out of state.

I'm currently taking Physics and about to start AP Calc. I've had my share of breeze classes (Health, Latin I) and average courses (World History, Physics). Nothing has really been too hard though. Sometimes I feel horrible about being behind pace, sometimes I could care less. Most of the teachers are like robots anyway.

I was just curious. In no way, am I paying for a course. Never.

Exactly. ;)

lmao @ JK, what met said.. exactly.

Lmao it is a joke.
I took alegbra 2 last summer on it and it took about a month and 1/2...I took drivers ed(to lower my insurance hehe) and I finished it in like 8 or 9 days lmao..I was thinking about taking ap bio on flvs but changed my mind lol.

Liist, is AP Lang hard through Florida Virtual School? What is the courseload like?

AP style essay for every other assignment, some random bull, and 4 books that you have to read.

I just finished AP Lang on FLVS, it took me way too long.

Who was your teacher?

I had Mrs. Boeckle. I don't think she liked me much.

I got an A first semester and then a B second semester (89%!!!!!!).

I don't believe I was ever on pace in that class for even a second. The assignments were sooooo boring and tedious.

Jman2306, how did you get an A, was it difficult?

Grammar count a lot?

Grammar does not count a lot, but it certainly is factored into your grades on assignments. I've had points taken off on my essays for grammar mistakes.

If you are a really good writer and you are good at analyzing prose rhetorically, you will get an A easily.

I had awesome argument essays, but my rhetorical analysis essays were not so awesome. It is probably why I got a 4 on the AP exam. :D

Jman2306, I'm going to take it in school, ap eng.

Can't wait, I'm focusing on my grammar, and comprehension.

Is ap eng like the cr portion on the sat?
