Fluff Classes?

Would these classes be considered fluff classes because (although they’re not like ceramics or something like that) these class aren’t really known for there difficulty:

  • IB ITGS
  • IB enviroments
  • AP Physcology

These are the classes I’m thinking about taking along with them if anyone wants to comment (PLEASE do so, THANKS!)

Junior
IB History hl 2
AP English Language and Comp
AP Biology
IB math SL 2
AP Economics
AP Physcology
IB ITGS 1

Senior
AP Physics
AP English literature
AP Government
IB Enviroments
AP Calculus
IB History hl 2
IB ITGS 2

(IB would only be for certificate)

There is nothing wrong at all with having a couple of classes that aren’t ‘hard core.’ Most people, even those applying to the most selective schools, take a couple. D took two periods as ‘internship’ her entire senior year to do just that. Didn’t hurt her a bit at the most selective schools. The same applies for any other class that is enriching without necessarily being one of the core (math, science, history, english, foreign language).

112 people have viewed your post and my response guy1234. I would interpret that to mean that there is nothing more to say about it.

I wouldn’t do any SLs unless it is part of the full diploma. You are better off with APs. So no, there should be better options. WHy SL math f you can do ABC and stats? Not sure of your major plan but you are hinting at Ivy’s, right?

Actually, taking one period like Ceramics can set you apart
Have you achieved Ap level in a foreign language already? Because that wouldn’t be optional if you’re aiming for Top25 schools.

I’ve finished level four french

oh and i’ve already finished ap stats so i’m pretty much taking IB MAth to fill a gap in my schedule because i was running out of math classes
