<p>No, this is a perfectly legit thing to do, though I don’t think it’s easy to land a courier seat. Basically, a (reputable!) company pays you to hand-deliver a package for them, in return for which they give you a free seat on the plane. You can’t take any checked luggage, though, as the package is your checked luggage. And you have to be flexible as to when you’re traveling.</p>
<p>That’s all I can say, I’ve never actually done this, or even attempted to.</p>
