Follow up for college update

So I recently reached out to my college saying that I was going to be anticipating a drop in my calculus grade. I didn’t specify to them how big of a drop, I thought It would drop from an 88 to 77, but it turned out that I got an 85 for my final grade for my second semester. So I’m wondering if I should reach out again giving them an update. If so here is the potential email I drafted:
I hope this email finds you well. My name is blank and I’m an incoming freshman for the class of 2028. I recently reached out expressing my concerns over a potential drop in my calculus grade. Although I did struggle a bit in calculus, I took proactive steps to address the challenges I have faced. I went to my teacher for additional help and studied more than ever which allowed me to grasp the concepts more effectively. As a result, I am happy to inform you that my calculus grade has remained stable, and my initial worry was unfounded. However, I can assure you that this issue will not happen at my time at blank college. I am committed to studying effectively and maintaining a strong academic record.

Won’t the college get your final HS transcript with all your grades?

If you would like to follow-up in a personal form, I believe a briefer, more matter-of-fact communication would be better. As a suggestion, consider this (which derives from your writing):

Nothing is needed as they’ll receive final transcripts. Who knows if they even kept your email. A C would have caused you no harm. So there’s nothing to do.

But if it makes you feel better, sure send it.

It’s a good life lesson that you are on top of potential issues and great with follow up. That will serve you well in general.

Have a great first year.

Thank you so much! If it doesn’t make a difference it’s probably better not to draw more attention to the email I sent previously right?

Yes they will

Then again, looking back on it now, I probably shouldn’t have sent that email without first knowing my final grade. Probably drew attention for no reason.

Don’t think you drew any attention.

In the end, you’ll be at school in the fall - no matter what you do.

All is great.

Thank you so much for all your help, I’ve been stressing recently about being rescinded. This makes me feel way better thank you

Closing thread since the issue seems resolved. If the OP wants to post again, they can use their original account, since multiple accounts are not allowed
