Hi all - My DD was emailed about doing an interview on Wednesday. The interviewer asked her to choose a couple of times, and my DD responded that same day. She’s heard nothing since. Is it appropriate to send another email following up or should she wait this one out? FWIW, it’s for a SCEA school.
If it’s been 24 hours, it’s fine to send another one. The original may be in the spam folder or the recipient meant to get to it later and forgot or any number of reasons.
I would wait until Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning. It may be something the interviewer was working on this weekend.
My D2 had this type of thing happen in the last few years. There was inevitably a reason she did not hear back immediately.
Thanks! It turns out the interviewer had emailed her yesterday but DD never got it, so I’m glad she wound up emailing her. They’re meeting tomorrow.
I never email a second time to follow up if they don’t respond. I just go to the place and ask around there. If it’s not close, then emailing would work.
