food

I have a few questions about dining:

Do you have to eat in the residence hall in which you live?

How frequently do students eat at other locations (other than all you can eat)?

On average, how is the quality of food?

At the non-all you can eat locations, does everything you choose to eat get charged a la carte?

You can eat in whichever dining hall you want. Not sure I understand what you mean about other locations, but our sons frequently eat at various dining halls all over campus. Often, if they’re not really hungry they will eat at the “a la carte” places, because it’s kind of a waste of money to pay for an “all you can eat” place if you won’t be getting much food.

We’ve eaten at almost all of the dining halls, and the food is always very good.

FYI: you can also use meal points at places other than dining halls (for example, some of the places at the HUB), but that can use up your points pretty quickly.
