<p>No, the term is footbag. Hacky sack is a brandnamed product by Wham-O!, and they market it as a toy. Plus, it’s a really bad footbag. Because Wham-O! doesn’t call it sports equipment or really respect the sport (yeah, we think it is a sport-- check out some videos and you’ll get what we mean), most players don’t really like them 
If you look on the more serious sites, you will find it is footbag. I actually go to competitions and have played for about 3 years, so if anyone is looking to get into it, definately PM me.</p>

<p>paris-you kick it around with your foot and or around a group and go on until someone drops it. Some people get fancy and do ‘tricks’ while kicking it around.</p>
<p>I’ve tried, but for some reason I’ve just always sucked at it. I can’t play soccer either.</p>
<p>It doesn’t matter what it’s called, it’s the dumbest thing i’ve ever seen. They used to play that in grade school, and they still do it in high school.</p>
<p>Really? I’ve always thought it was very beautiful. Once you get good at it, it becomes almost a poetic expression. I’ve played soccer, tennis, hockey, football, frisbee golf, and skateboarding, and none of them require near the same amount of effort or dexterity. That’s just me though.</p>
<p>hackeysacking/footbaging is not dumb and its not stupid. It more of a relaxing game not a sport although some guys make it almost a goddamn art. If you dont like it dont respond. Some people need help with that particular issue.</p>
