Has anyone been to the Brown Football Camp as well as Holy Cross and Harvard. The Brown is pretty much all day whilee Harvard and Holy Cross are not full days.
Does anyone have any feedback specific to the Brown Camp? Do they test 40, shuttle, etc.
I have heard Harvard tests and it looks like Holy Cross does too but not sure about Brown. Brown info only states “practice” 9:00 AM-12:00, lunch and then “practice” 2-5: 00 PM.
Note: my S is RB/DB-overall athlete type that was under the radar a bit but after looking at his film and stats he is being recruited/contacted by NESCAC (personal calls, emails, invites from coaches who gave a personal campus tour and would like us to pre-read). but little interest from Ivies and minimal Patriot League contact, though one Ivy reached out to him by text stating that they would like to evaluate him at their camp to get a better sense.
My son did not camp at Brown, but I would be flabbergasted if they did not have some combine style testing. Every camp my son attended tested the 40, shuttle, height, weight, standing long jump and more than half had some type of bench test. That is really why the kids are there, so the coaches can get raw numbers that they trust.
