<p>Why does UW start so late (Sept. 30) and end so late (June)?</p>
<p>Does this mean that students aren’t even on campus for the first few football games of the year? That really sucks.</p>

<p>nope, since most kidsthat attend the school are from the northwest anyways , there is a lot of huskies there…</p>
<p>The original poster has obviously not had to go through montlake during a husky game… let alone opening day.</p>
<p>no i have not, I’m not sure how those are, maybe you can fill me in on it.</p>
<p>But I have attended the evening whiteout games at Penn State with 100,000 + packing the stadium with the student section seemingly taking up almost half of it.</p>
