What does the foothill dorm look like? What furnishings does it have? Are the beds the size of a single bed(like the bunk beds in Unit 3) or more like a queen size?

Hi I lived in Foothill last year (for my freshman year) but I’ve only been to a Unit 1 room twice, so I’ll try to compare:

At Foothill, the doors in the hallways you pass through don’t lead to a room, like in the Units. They lead to another (locked) hallway that is the suite. My suite had 4 doors (each door lead to either a double room or a single) and there was also a bathroom with two stalls, a shower, a tub, and four sinks. There was also a small lounge with two or three sofas, a table, and a shelf (you could fit a TV on there if you or any of your suitemates brought one).

A double room (like the one I had) had two beds that are the size of the beds at the Units, I believe (not bunk beds, just regular ones), two big wardrobe-closet type of things, two shelves (maybe 4 feet? lol, just a guess), one small trash can, and two desks. The rooms aren’t huge, but compared to the the Units they’re very comfortable.

Any more questions, feel free to ask :)

Thanks! So the beds are basically single-person beds?

Do they provide toiletries and linens, or do you have to bring them yourself?

Here, it says the beds are “extra long twin beds” (which are single person size), so that’s the size you look for when you go out to buy linens and stuff all you get with the bed is basically a mattress and I think a really thin, crappy mattress cover.
The only thing they provide for the bathroom is toilet paper and paper towels for the paper towel dispenser thing in the bathroom. You also get a little shelf in the bathroom to put all your stuff in.
