For a Finance major, how big does the SAT CR play/indicate?

Hey. I am a high school senior who is applying to some of the top tier business schools as a hopeful finance major.

My only dilemma/problem is:

My SAT scores indicate that I am better in English than in Math:

My Highest (Superscored M and CR section( is:

CR - 760 (Oct. 2007 SAT)
M - 710 (Jun. 2007 SAT)

My previous scores were:

CR - 680 (Jan. 2007)
660 (Jun. 2007)

M - 640 (Jan. 2007)
670 (Oct. 2007)

So will this hurt my admission chances? (I know that business is more math orientated but I am pretty good in math but just better in English…either way I am analytical which will help me in the business field.)

Also I have:

Math IC - 670 (May 2007)
AP Calculus AB Exam - 5 (May 2007)

I retook Math IC on Nov. 3rd and I am pretty sure it is above 700.
I also took Math IIC on Nov. 3rd and I am quite confident it is above 700 or at least 670 and above.

I also have As in all my math classes and am currently taking AP Calc BC.

So how do you think my avg. scores in math (As compared to my high scores in English) will affect my admission chances?

I am applying to EA to Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business.

Thanks.

I think you’ll be fine, your scores aren’t that low, and you’ve already understood calculus well enough in Calculus to get a 5 on the AP Exam.

Looking on the bright side, they might be pleased to have a candidate with a balance like yours, since most candidates probably skew the other way.

Thanks for the input.
