It seems that kids who don’t have a 4.0 can’t get into any selective schools at all. THIS IS NOT TRUE. You obviously have strong extracirriculars and test scores, especially for a URM. 3.8 weighted is a pretty dam good gpa. In fact, one of my friends who had the same gpa got into ED cornell a week ago. And he had a 1800 sat. So stop worrying and paying attention to what people like waverly say. I wouldn’t be surprised if you receive a letter of acceptance in a few months.</p>
