For: Accepted FSU Transfer Students Fall 2012

I was in exactly the same boat about a week ago, except I’m planning to major in another science. Facts.org and this one FSU page gave me this long list of higher-level stuff (Up to Calc 3, Physics 2, Like 5 chemistry classes, etc.) which would have been extremely inconvenient to take, since it would delay me by a good number of semesters. I e-mailed one of the contacts for my major, however, and she said that I only needed a few classes (no physics, no calc… and they actually prefer that I take the upper-level Chem. classes with them, contrary to facts.org) which was a tremendous relief. It ended up being closer to the milestones listed for semesters 1-4 (~2 years at a CC) on FSU’s academic map page. Here’s the bio one. Milestones are on the right.

Anyhow, you might not even need all of those. Mine listed Calc 1 but she said that I technically could do that at the U after I transferred, so the required courseload might be even lighter yet if any of those classes are a problem for you. It’s VERY important that you talk directly to an academic adviser or admissions person for your major. Good luck!
