For all those Einstein's

I was just wondering HOW DO YOU DO IT? How do you achieve 1800 & above on your SAT’s? Is there a special drink you take? Ritual? Im just wondering because i got a 1480 (low I know don’t nag me about it) and people at my school have gotten lower. I know studying is number one but I studied and still got a low score. Did u guys answer every question? Do you leave some blank? I guess that’s where I messed up, I answered every question instead of leaving it blank.
Just curious
Thanks!

Practice practice practice… I went from a 1390 to a 1850 in 3 months!! Aiming for 1900+ now

Continuously practice the concepts, use devil’s advocate (check out Apoc’s critical reading guide for more info), memorize the ten most common grammar concepts, STUDY Vocabulary (I can’t emphasize how important this is).

I went from a pathetic 1500 to a 2060 on the October SAT in 4 months. Now, I’m constantly hitting 2100-2210 on my practice tests.

Oh, and you HAVE TO UNDERSTAND why the correct answer is correct and the wrong answer is wrong.

Take SAT as the last standardized test you do in your life, and spend some time on it. I suggest studying vocab consistently. Make flashcards everyday and take a look at them whenever you’re free (on the bus, during break, before sleeping, …).

I actually have the same question as you do, even until now. Some Stanford applicants spend months doing charity works at places whose names I can’t even pronounce, and they and still get 2200+ SAT. So human minds do vary to such a great extent. Nature is truly a wonder…

Sorry I got carried away.

The point is, study systematically and you’ll get 1800+ before you even know it. Carpe diem!
