Good essays and strong ECs are a big part of admissions, as you can see. </p>
<p>My friend got in with a 4.1 and a 1550 and a few ECs. he was also a minority.
My other friend got denied with a 4.1, 2100, and lots of ECs. He was white.
You never can tell with the UCs.</p>
