<p>Army softball co-captain and infielder Lindsey Gerheim was recently named a finalist in the national Lowe’s Senior Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School Award. The CLASS award, originating in 2001, was designed to recognize athletes who choose to complete their education over playing professional sports. Gerheim will graduate later this month as Army softball’s all-time leader in home runs (20), games played (200) and at bats (584) during her four year career.</p>
