<p>itunes will get the art for you automatically. select the sog and got to Advanced>Get Album Artwork. you can select your entire library and it’ll get the covers for you. if you want to do it manually, i don’t think there is a resolution ceiling. if it’s too big, it’ll shrink it down to fit on the ipod’s screen. if the itunes doesn’t get all the artwork, use FetchArt. It works only on PPC macs though.</p>
<p>The Advanced>Get Album Artwork option is only avaliable on iTunes 7. Make sure you’re up to date, then download away.</p>
<p>it says you need an account, and when istarted to make an account you need a credit card, is this right?</p>
<p>You don’t have to have a credit card, but I do believe you have to have a pre-paid card code to go this route.</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure the album art that iTunes gives you is 500x500 most of the time. So 500x500 is probably the max.</p>
