<p>it is better to be a freshman to be recruited because you will be at that school for 4 years
so if you are applying for 2 years it might not be as much help</p>

im applying as a soph repeat… nd when i talked to the caoches they want ppl with experience… and im not sure about most capabilites, but fresh nd soph repeats tend to have mroe experience. the coaches want ppl who have experiences playing at a high competitve level.</p>
<p>ps- just saying most of my friends who went to boarding school last year all went either as repeats or juniors</p>
<p>If you are a freshman and good enough to be on a prep school varsity team, then you are certainly a desireable recruit! But, it is very rare to see freshmen on Varsity prep school teams so I don’t think being a sophomore or junior will hurt you at all.</p>
