for science PhD students (and their parents)

Google “Bad project” on YouTube (too bad no youtube links are allowed…). It’s priceless…

having just finished my own bad project, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry  :(

Really wonderful! I love the costumes. Thanks for posting.

H and I were married when he was finishing his PhD, I worked in an adjoining lab. This made me laugh out loud!

LOL. Thanks for posting this.

LOL - lab supplies make Gaga-quality costumes. :)

This is priceless!

I think she’s wasting her talent in the lab. Her costumes are incredible…
I am also impressed with the level of cooperation she got from the other lab members ;)…

nngmm-absolutely hilarious. I have one non-science Ph.D. student and one science undergrad so I mentally combined them and sent this to both. ;)

LOVE IT!!! (S and D both work in labs…)

Had to send it to H, who thankfully did not have a bad project…

Showed it to dh who loved it. Especially the Western Blot outfits.

Neither H nor I had a bad project in grad school, but I know a couple of folks who did. Especially liked the part with the little eppies labeled in a foreign language. yup, been there, seen that!

Here is a boring article about the lab that produced the video (but it has a link to the video…;)):
[Lady Gaga: Science geeks parody ‘Bad Romance’ (VIDEO) - Los Angeles Dance | Examiner.com](http://www.examiner.com/dance-in-los-angeles/lady-gaga-science-geeks-parody-bad-romance-video)

Hilarious!

This is spreading like a wildfire! The entire biology lab crew was glued to their bosses’ computer monitor for a few minutes today watching the video! Nope, I did not send the link to anyone at the company :)

That’s hilarious - I can’t make the second row out clearly, but - spoiler! - the other three foreign language labels (Chinese) read “lies”, “no future” and “missus wants to graduate”! The last line really caught me off guard!

Happydad was sooooooooo jealous! Then again, if good, cheap video equipment had been around in his day, no one in his lab would have finished a single experiment.
