$$$ for Singles

I’m a pretty extroverted individual, but I really value my alone time, so I’m looking at getting a single. Is this considerably more expensive an option, and is it even a likely possibility for freshman? Thank you.

its not more expensive at all, im pretty sure.

Singles are easy to get as a first-year. The only dorm that can be tough getting into is the Snell side of Snell-Hitchcock (Snell is singles, Hitchcock doubles).

BJ, Breck, Maclean, and Broadview are dorms with all or majority singles. There’s plenty of room.

All dorms have the same price for first years. After that, prices change depending on the dorm and the room set-up. Singles are usually more expensive. For first years, though, there is no price difference between the dorms.

Broadview is a dorm of all singles and is also quite social within the dorm. People in the houses are pretty tightly-knit and seem to really love their housing. I don’t think you’ll have much trouble getting into Broadview or most other dorms with singles.
