<p>A lot of you did not get admitted or got admitted at schools you do not like. IF you still like another school that YOU DID NOT apply to call them.</p>
<p>In your call you should address a few important points:
-Do you have openings <em>Do not ask HOW MANY openings</em>
-Optional: Would you happen to have financial aid, we need [little], [medium], [significant aid] *Make sure to say that, if you need, how much aid you need. Make an approximation. </p>
<p>2-10 = little
10-18= medium
18+= significant</p>
<p>Or by whatever standards you use</p>
<p>-Politely ask them to send an information packet to [address given]
-Thank them profusely for taking the time </p>
<p>On a side note:</p>
<p>School I would not consider: HADES, Groton, Milton, Choate, and possibly Lawrenceville.
Not to say that these schools are <em>better</em> than the others but they will fill up faster… You can give it a nice try though.</p>
<p>Try: Taft, Peddie, VE… Others that are not as sought after by the <em>public</em>
Again, not to say these schools are lower tier or lower in educational quality… It’s just that the above mentioned schools are very sought after and fill up quickly. </p>
<p>Also remember: You may have to go through a set of WL students, they may put you in with them. They may not.</p>
<p>If you do not plan on going, safety, do not apply. </p>
