Is it hard to get an A in Western Culture and Tradition? What do you think the average grade would be around? Thanks a lot!!!

It depends on your professor and the style of the course. Some of this is unpredictable until you are actually enrolled in the class. Some professors include more literature then philosophy and you may gravitate towards one or the other. Some professors might value writing over class participation or the converse.

Ultimately, yes you will have to do significant amounts of work in any professors class to get an A, but you would have to really f*** up to get less then a B-.

Since you are receiving two letter grades for WCT, the professor can give you two A’s or A/A-, A-/B+ or any combination they like. Getting two A’s isn’t unusual, but will require some work. Some professors reserve that double A for the truly exceptional students. Most give A/A- for great work, but not out of this world.
