Are you worried about the workload next year?
Do you think it will be very stressful?</p>
<p>I expect the workload to be more, but as many here on CC think, time management will be key. I think I’ll do fine. Any of you concerned about the dorms and roommates?</p>
<p>I wouldn’t say I’m concerned about roommates, but I am hoping I don’t get a roommate with D&A issues, obviously at every school there are kids that have these problems, I just hope I don’t have to live in the same room as one</p>
<p>I’m most worried about the workload and how I’ll be able to handle it. I come from a school where I have not had to work incredibly hard during my middle school life. I think that I know how to work hard and study, but I’m not sure if I’m ready for the added stress of high school. We’ll all be surrounded by the brightest kids in the world, and it’s going to be so hard not to compare ourselves to them. The teachers will expect so much of us! The admissions office accepted us: suddenly we will have to live up to their expectation. And then, of course, balancing a sport and clubs and homework and being successful in life? Uh oh–I don’t feel prepared yet. Anyone else with me?</p>

<p>Sorry for the confusion… when I said D&A I did mean drug and alcohol.</p>
<p>I can only speak for Andover, but students with drug and alcohol “issues” in the true sense are few and far between - and they normally don’t stay around long. Those who have experimented in the past or partake from time to time are more common, and you’re unlikely to even know that about them unless you ask.</p>

<p>chuppybn: simple. Get up before them or shower at night. Also, I doubt every single one of you will share the same shower.</p>
