I took 3 IB’s and 3 AP’s last year and did fairly well. I got a few B’s but mostly A’s. This year I am taking 4 HL IB courses (plus TOK) and 4 AP’s. Everyone (teachers, friends, parents) says that this type of schedule is not possible but I know I can do it. Noone believes me…

My question is: How did you all who took 8+ AP courses manage your time? I am thinking of making a VERY detailed weekly schedule and plan out everything accordingly. Last year I was pretty unorganized and it cost me a little. This year I want everything to be really organized so I can be prepared for everything.

Tests were staggered, and in addition the only major homework was reading, so it was rather easy to manage the schedule. Other places put more emphasis on projects and written assignments in certain AP classes, and this would make for an impossible schedule.
I never made a schedule, as the only thing I needed to know was when tests would occur in order to pace the reading accordingly by dividing it up into shorter equal segments.
For the exams, I did a similar thing, except I did buy review materials and spaced the review out over a month as it will take a long time to review all of the information.
