<p>What do you think of the new grading scale? I personally hate it… I really think our system was what held our reputation so high in the past… Now that a 90 is going to be an A, I probably won’t work as harder. They say it’s retroactive, but so what? They can give us numbers all they want. FCPS won’t be the same in their quality. Bad choice. And school starting a hour late on top of that? Wow.</p>

<p>I’m a senior and just moved here at the beginning of the year, but I think the grading scale change is a positive one. I know a lot of kids were upset because they thought colleges didn’t take the harsh grading scale into account, but now they won’t have anything to ***** about. And I think for classes like AP Calc and AP Physics C, the lax curves some schools have will be dropped, so it’s not like kids will be able to skate by.</p>
<p>The starting time think is another issue, and as far as I know nothing is permanent yet. I do know that if it is implemented, a lot of people who do sports like crew and swimming are going to be very ticked, because they’ll be dropped on account of school not ending until 4.</p>
