<p>My situation is similar to Starmie’s, my lowest grade thus far has actually been 99/100 (okay, technically 98.6)…which is absolutely impossible most places I know. Except at my school. (Not that my school is a walk in the park, but I haven’t had any insane teachers who live to deflate GPAs.)
Though, I don’t think that was a main factor in my acceptance since so many kids have incredibly mindboggling grades…I’d like to think it was more my passionate approach to the application, in which I emphasized what I truly loved learning. But who knows? =)</p>
<p>Sorry if this sounds really ignorant, but does Stanford really not look at your grades from freshman year? 'Cause that would be really incredible for me :)</p>
