I know that section obviously doesn’t count but just curious. For #25, a problem involving exponents, what was the largest value for b to satisfy the inequality: I put 6 (E). Do you think that is correct?

What other kinds of questions where in your math experimental section?!

was the lines and circle question experimental? was the what are 3 possible sides of a triangle experimental?

harpingchic, those questions were not experimental.
I had them and had a verbal experimental.

The math experimental was the section with hieroglyphics and weird symbols.

then there must have been 2 experimental maths… i had 4 math sections as well but the experimental was different.

math (regular 5-choice questions)
verbal (long reading passage)
math (QC and SPR questions)
equating (the one that doesn’t count toward your score)
verbal (2 reading passages)
verbal (long reading passage)
math (regular 5-choice questions)*******

**one I HAD

Equating was an extra math. Almost positive 96 % that triangle train questions were in this section along with other tricky/hard questions. I nailed my first section math and did horrible on my fourth section but its EQUATING :)

OR, like this:

verbal (long reading passage)
math (regular 5-choice questions)
verbal (2 reading passages)
math (QC and SPR questions)
equating (the one that doesn’t count toward your score)
math (regular 5-choice questions)
verbal (long reading passage)
OR, like this:

verbal (2 reading passages)
equating (the one that doesn’t count toward your score)
math (QC and SPR questions)
verbal (long reading passage)
math (regular 5-choice questions)
verbal (long reading passage)
math (regular 5-choice questions)

was the
0.8(220-a) trunkated to nearest integer
experimental?

My test went like this:
V
M (reg mult choice)
V
M (SPR and QC)
M (Experimental)
M (short section)
V

So I figured one of two things…there was more than one experimental section, because i don’t remember the heiroglyphic problem… or i was going so slow in that section that i didn’t even see it lol. Anyway, section 5 on mine must have been experimental, because alot of it was harder than what I was prepared for, indicating that Collegeboard was experimenting for new SAT math, and one of my friends had the experimental verbal and not the math secto i had.

Good thing it’s experimental, because it kiled me.

what questions were in the math experimental because i had the same format?

The math experimental that I had (same order as golfshots) had a problem where you were given a square with sides = 10 and there were 4 overlapping triangles in it. You had to find the area of the square that the 4 triangles formed inside the square.

list some other problems in the experimental, how about possible sides of a triangle, median/average problem, train problem, and the problem with the coordinates?

hello, i also had the… :

V
M (reg mult choice)
V
M (SPR and QC)
M (Experimental)
M (short section)
V

can anyone please list some of the problems in the experimental section? … i forgot which section it was…

I dont remember the questions in my exp. section, i honestly tried to forget about it after i was done… it was that bad. I was ticked that i got 3 math sections in a row…I do remember the train problem, but i dont remember if it was in that section… one of my friends that had the V experimental had it though, so i assume that was a normal problem.

I am international, with 4 math sections (obviously one was equation), but didnt have the questions you were talking about:
some train
some overlapping triangles in a square
did you have the one with 0.8(a-220) that was calculating a childs age or something like that?
