For UGA Admitted and Interested

Sorry to be an interloper here but I wanted to clairfy something about the housing situation: you are definitely guaranteed and required to have on-campus housing all freshman year. After that, you have to reapply for housing (unless, like me, you completely forget and get kicked off campus) and then things like credit hours really impact that. I know some of my friends who took 12 hours didn’t get back into housing while those who took 14 or 15 did, so be aware of that.

Patel: Yes, UGA does have a pre-pharmacy program, as well as a pretty good pharmacy school too.

mahleah: Myers is a great place; while the quality of the students is really high, at the same time people are relatively relaxed and into the same things everyone else at UGA is into; it’s just that alongside discussions of football, ultimate frisbee, and partying come critiques of postmodernism and maybe a few arguments in Latin. Honors as a whole is great, but is really what you want to make of it- it provides resources and support for students who want to use them, but even though they do a great job of making sure you know about all the opportunities it’s still up to students to take advantage.

And anyways yeah if anyone has any more questions about UGA Honors I can probably answer a few of those, but Space’s done a great job with the other ones so far so I dont’ want to intrude.
