For which schools/majors is it better to go undeclared?

Everyone knows declaring your interest in biology is a bad idea, but are there any others(for specific schools too)??
Oh and if this thread has been started already I apologize.

Well…

“Everyone knows declaring your interest in biology is a bad idea” Untrue

Read what Northstarmom has to say at the bottom of this thread.http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/552947-practice-particularly-frowned-upon.html

Basically, it doesn’t matter what you put in 96% of all scenarios.

I’d like to finish that off with, “at the most selective schools”. It really depends on which schools you’re looking at. I know that if all you want to do is get into Berkeley I’d advise you not to put down engineering lol.
