<p>Just a gentle reminder to the parents out there to keep costs in mind even when college costs continue to skyrocket to the heavens. A good rule of thumb is to NOT allow your child to take out student loans that would exceed their expected annual income upon graduating. Also, avoid PRIVATE Student Loans at all costs! Parent Plus Loans should be taken out to a minimum. And finally, STUDENT LOANS CANNOT BE DISCHARGED IN BANKRUPTCY!!! </p>
