Fordham - OASIS Student Login: Does it work for YOU?

Hey, everybody. I was just playing around on the Fordham website today, and I noticed the OASIS Student Login page. I entered my social security number for the “Student ID” and the last 4 digits of my zip code for the “PIN.” Another page came up giving me a Student ID # and I was able to change my PIN #. I don’t know if this works for everyone or if it’s just for accepted applicants… I’m probably shooting in the dark here, but I’m so anxious about my letter from Fordham. Does this (https://oasis.fordham.edu/</a>) work for anybody? Does it mean anything? If you have any info, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks :).

Click on “Enter Student Services.”

Hi Shiba411. I did the same with my S’s ss# and zip code and also got on and was given a new numerical ID and asked to change my pin. Not sure what that means. You wouldn’t think it would work unless you were a student there, which he isn’t, yet as far as we know.

Then I tried it with my own SS# and got a message that the ID Login was not in the system. Just FYI. Don’t know if it means anything or not.

I’m not sure it does… Everybody applying to Fordham should have a Student ID# and their SS# on file. Although, I don’t know why they would let us log on to what is clearly a site for current students. Oh well, just thought I’d put it out there. Good luck to your S!!

if you explore further, it also has the student’s name, permanent residence, phone number, e-mail. clicking on anything else just gets a message saying that a record hasn’t been created yet. it’s interesting. good luck to you.

I tried it and clicked on drop and add classes to see what happened! It said “student not admitted for fall term”. I hope that doesn’t mean that I was rejected!! HAHA this is funny, I feel like I am hacking someones computer

omg I tried to press the back button and it said “ALERT: BREAK IN attempt!”
oh my gosh how scary… what does that mean, doesnt sound good!

That’s what mine says, kelread59. I don’t think it means we’re rejected…btw, I felt like I was hacking too! :)

hahaha okay good :)!!!

I tried it and I got a new id and pin number… it kinda looks like it is for students so it looks like a good thing. When you login again it brings you to the “Student Home Page” with information about grades, transcript, classes, etc… so I don’t think it is for all applicants… or at least I hope. I wouldn’t get too worried if you can’t login yet because they might not have updated everything yet.

… or like someone said earlier… everyone who applied could have a student id but it would seem really odd to have everyone being able to access something that looks like it is for students… Northeastern has a similar website for students and from previous years experience, only accepted students have been able to get into the website.

Ok guys; let me shed some light here. I don’t mean to burst anyone’s bubble, but if you applied then you will have limited access to OASIS. It’s not necessarily an indicator that you have been accepted or declined; it just means that you can view your personal info on the student server.

SORRY!

That’s what I was afraid of… After I posted, I looked on last year’s Fordham posts…and some people said that they were able to login to OASIS, and were waitlisted anyway.

haha oh well!

The thrill is gone…lol

Okay… OASIS now has financial aid information for me but i really hope it is wrong. Can anyone else see their financial aid summary? Mine really would suck if this is the real one and I hope they just havent finished updating it yet… A $32000 loan?!? Are you kidding me? And the total financial aid was more than the college actually costs so something has to be wrong here…

I can read my S, it says “aid package not yet completed.” whatever that means

mystified: Mine says that too. Where do u live?

kk.: That’s strange…

my financial aid package is availabe to me as well. my PLUS loan was 21000 which i thought was ridiculously high, but I’m pretty sure that’s just what I’m eligible to recieve, I don’t really have to take all of that out. i also viewed my package on OASIS, but I’m pretty sure what’s on there is what you’ll get.
