<p>Hello,
My D is thrilled to be tranferring into Fordham as a junior this upcoming fall(business school). She was accepted with housing but assignment to be decided later. Housing office not very helpful saying she will have little choice and will either be put in a triple in Finley, a 4/6 person apt in Walsh or off campus at Terra Nova 7ppl)on Arthur Ave or Arthur House(7ppl) on Hoffman St. These options are not appealing, too many people crammed in. She would love to be on campus for the convenience and also to meet people but I am guessing grabbing a single or simple double is impossible. It would also be nice if she could have some say about the ppl she is to live with. Can anyone offer advice about taking control of the process to some extent?</p>
<p>Question: Where do we find other Fordham Rose Hill juniors looking for a roomate? Is there somewhere to post on this site? Are there roomate/apt postings or listings somewhere online or on campus? How do we reach some of the current upperclassman who may need one more person to room with? What about those looking for off campus apt mates? Any recommendations for off campus housing very close by to campus. I saw corner of Bathgate and E 191st street looked close.</p>
<p>We will be visiting next week to meet w transfer dean and would like to view the housing options while there. Hope to have some direction from those of you in the know about Fordham.
